Whit Whitaker began serving as the Executive Director of the Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center in August 2019. Prior to this appointment, he has performed on the legendary stage at the Lyric, has graced audiences across the globe with his rich vocal skills and is a proven leader in the local arts community. Originally from Detroit, Whitaker graduated from UK with a degree in music and later earned his Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration. Most recently he served as the choral business director for the Lexington Singers and can still be seen performing on stage as a a member of the Kentucky Bach Choir, occasionally with The American Spiritual Ensemble and as a solo artist. Whit serves on several local boards, regularly volunteers his time in the community.

Trebecca Henderson is the Patron Services Coordinator at The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center in Lexington, KY. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio, emphasizing in black and white film photography, and Art History. Trebecca has lived in Lexington, KY for a little over a decade but is originally from Cincinnati, OH. While working full time for The Lyric, she is also very active in the local art community, having just completed a mural for the UK Markey Cancer Center with the help of its BMT Unit nurses, made exclusively out of recyclable plastic medical waste. A self-proclaimed ambivert, you’ll find her supporting local music at shows, or cozied up at home with her dog and a good book.

Devon Collins is the Administrative Assistant at The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Devon graduated from Morehead State University in 2015 with a degree in Secondary English Education. She used this degree for four years in the Central Kentucky Area as a public school teacher and theatrical director/producer specializing in integrating arts education practices into standard curriculum. Upon completing a Masters Degree in Arts Administration in 2019, Devon has aspirations of helping local arts institutions thrive and educate the communities that serve them on the benefits of the arts.
