NOW HIRING: Arts Admin Intern 

The Lyric is looking for a driven, personable university level student to join our team this semester as an Arts Admin Intern! 

Our programming consists of an array of special events, classes, concerts, and
community events, with a particular emphasis on African-American culture.
As the Arts Administration Intern, you will learn the ins and outs of The Lyric’s
unique and multifaceted operations; from installing exhibits and interviewing
artists, to overseeing rentals and operating theatrical productions, and much more.

This paid position requires up to 150 hours over the semester
and will shadow the entire Lyric team, including:

Executive Director

Assisting with program planning, implementation, community outreach, and overall mission fulfillment.

Operations Manager

Learning about and assisting with The Lyric’s rental program, learning about
finances and bookkeeping for nonprofits, & budgeting for ongoing Lyric programs.

Marketing Coordinator

Assisting with ongoing marketing strategy for Lyric events, programming, and
exhibitions through social media, print distribution, and graphic design. In addition,
the internship involves assisting with the Lyric’s radio programming and interviewing community members.
