A Brand New Day Pops Concert

Continuing to make music together has been a joy for the Lexington Singers through this difficult time — and now, we're thrilled to be performing live again at the historic Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center

This annual Pops concert reprise, "Brand New Day,” will be presented at the historic Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center in downtown Lexington's historic East End community on June 25th at 7:30 pm.

This year’s Pops concert focuses on joy, community, and renewal, with dynamic performances of celebration songs like "Aquarius (Let the Sunshine In)” from "Hair” and "Brand New Day” from "The Wiz” as well as lyrical ballads like the Carpenters’ "We’ve Only Just Begun”, and the rousing "The Sound of Music” classic "Climb Ev’ry Mountain.”

In conjunction with the Lyric Theatre, careful steps are being taken to mitigate COVID-19 risk. All guests will be required to wear a mask upon entering the facilities and may remove masks once seated if you feel comfortable in doing so. Anyone who has not been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 is required to wear a mask, per CDC recommendations, for the duration of the period in the building.

The Lyric Theatre and The Lexington Singers ask that everyone please be respectful of all in attendance regardless of their masking choice while seated during the concert.

Anyone found to be in violation of The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center policy, as well as anyone who harasses individuals who choose to wear or not wear masks while seated will be asked to leave.

No food or drinks will be allowed in the theatre for the concert.
