    This two mile walking tour will take participants from the corner of East Short and Dewees Street to the corner of East Third and Midland Avenue. Along the way, the history of the development of homes and businesses of both white and black citizens will create a picture of what the third quadrant of  Lexington, known as the East End, really looked like from 1780 through the 1960s.

    Tour will be lead by local Historian Yvonne Giles.

     Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.

    Join us for a hands-on art experience where you will have the opportunity to paint your own masterpiece to match one of professional painter, Enrique’s very own creations, and take it home with you.

    You do not need to be an artist to participate since Enrique will be leading you step by step through the process of recreating the featured artwork. Paint, brushes, canvas, and one glass of wine included!
