    Exhibit Opening Reception/ Artist Talk

Michigan artist, Minerva Evans, crafted her Doors exhibit from reused doors- embracing their many imperfections, as is life’s journey. Through her use of fabric, acrylic paint and decorative items she created beautifully dressed images of African women. Ms. Evans acknowledges the struggle that women of African descent have endured over time in this incredibly constructed exhibition.

    Artist Talk scheduled during event.
